Named after Duke Ellington's composition "Satin Doll," Satin has tapered, fluted legs which flow into the magnificent shell fans on each side of the case. The glamorous feel of Satin is completed with its shell outline and a special high polish ebony finish.
Along with the genius of Duke Ellington, a notable painting by Mary Vickers serves as inspiration for Satin. It features an exquisite white piano with seashell designs fanning out from the piano's legs, a concept that designer Terry Hunt refined and executed in the custom components of this beautiful art case piano.
