The beauty and allure of this exquisite piano are undeniable. From the detailed marquetry to the prized veneers of sapele and holly, Romance is a feast for the senses. The rim is banded with figurative trim, with reversed fans of sapele slices comprising the outlined faces. The legs and lyre are curved, convex-shaped assemblies which include delicate carving and masterful marquetry.

Born in Bogota, Colombia, in 1962, Tiberio learned the basics of furniture making from his father when he was just a boy. He then immersed himself in different areas of furniture production: design, sketching, model-making, machining, handwork, and handling veneer and its variations, inlaid work and marquetry.
From this diversified education, a love of classical furniture was born. Curved lines and intricate designs have always played a major part in Mr. Yepes' work.
Since moving to New York, he continues to create exquisite pieces with the same passion and talent he discovered in himself as a child.
