Position Summary:

Steinway & Sons is currently seeking a Head of IT to manage the Information Technology Department for the Steinway Americas region. This person will lead IT strategy in collaboration with other Steinway Musical Instruments divisions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the IT Team

• Deployment and maintenance of all IT systems including help desk ticketing system, Office 365, ERP, telecommunications, internet, and internal networking.

• Develop and maintain cyber security systems and protocols.

• Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, budgets and other metrics and needs.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.

• Manage and develop company IT policies and procedures.

• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for IT tools.

• Participate “hands on” in daily IT operations.

Qualifications, education and experience:

• Bachelors in information technology, information systems, computer science or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.

• At least 5+ years proven experience in IT management at a mid-sized company

• Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases and storage systems

• Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft and Apple systems, including Microsoft Office applications, O365, Windows operating systems, Mac OS and iOS

• Ability to lead and manage independently.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent analytical and management skills.

• Project Management experience and certifications preferred.

The estimated annualized base salary range for this role is $150,000-$175,000. Compensation will vary based on skills and experience. Position Summary:

Steinway & Sons is currently seeking an IT Help Desk Administrator to work with the Information Technology Department and provide support for the Steinway Americas region.

The IT Helpdesk Administrator role involves providing desktop and mobile support, resolving issues in a timely manner, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Help Desk system. Main tasks include end user support for PCs, printers, mobile and related systems, including upgrades and configurations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Help Desk support and resolve problems from internal company end users

• Document and describe user issues and internal procedures

• Perform maintenance of end user systems, including software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and related issues

• Support printer setups, troubleshooting, and driver installation

• Assist with onboarding of new users

• Assist with mobile device support and wireless access setup

• Maintain inventory of all PC equipment, including desktops and laptop systems

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a helpdesk or Level 1 support role.

• Strong technical skills in Microsoft and Apple systems, including Microsoft Office applications, O365, Windows operating systems, Mac OS and iOS

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to Microsoft and Apple systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

• Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote desktop tools.

• Ability to work as part of a team and individually

The estimated annualized base salary range for this role is $40,000-$55,000. Compensation will vary based on skills and experience.
