Tim Berne
Jazz alto saxophonist Tim Berne is the frontman for the jazz quintet Tim Berne’s Snakeoil. His latest release, Sun of Goldfinger (ECM), finds him in a cooperative trio with guitarist David Torn and percussionist Ches Smith. Berne speaks on finding your groove in improvisation from his home in Brooklyn, New York, with Soundboard producer and host Ben Finane, Editor in Chief at listenmusicculture.com.
