The Steinway Top Teacher Award is a prestigious formal recognition by Steinway & Sons that commends a music educator’s passion, artistry, and commitment to students. Exemplary piano teachers in regions throughout the country are selected to receive the honor.

Steinway & Sons has always been an avid supporter of music education. Steinway-authorized dealers have relationships with piano educators who teach a wide variety of genres. In 2017, Steinway launched the Top Teacher program to recognize teachers who have demonstrated a passion for inspiring young people in their musical expression, as well as a commitment to insisting that their students practice and perform on the finest pianos in the world.
