David Xing Quan Pan

David (XingQuan) Pan is a 16-year-old pianist from Vancouver who began his musical journey at the age of six. Since then, he has performed extensively across the Lower Mainland and at prominent venues throughout Canada, as well as in international performances.

Under the guidance of Steinway Artist and educator Ian Parker, David has honed his skills, focusing on both technical precision and emotional expression. His participation in masterclasses with esteemed instructors such as Wojciech Świtała and Gary Graffman has further refined his artistry, helping him develop a unique musical style.

David’s performances at venues like the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts and the Orpheum Theatre have earned recognition from both audiences and critics. He has also participated in prestigious competitions, including the Canadian Chopin Competition and the Kronberg International Piano Competition, demonstrating his dedication and exceptional talent.

As he prepares for a series of upcoming international competitions and solo recitals, David is determined to establish a strong presence in the global music scene and continue sharing his passion for music with audiences around the world.
