Young Steinway Artist Kimberly Han is one of eight 2016-2018 Lang Lang Young Scholars, a four-year (2016-2020) Chopin Foundation of USA full scholarship recipient, and 2017 & 2018 National YoungArts winner. A decorated young pianist, Kimberly was the Winner of 2018 Fox Valley Orchestra Concerto Competition, 2nd place winner of 2017 Emilio del Rosario Concerto Competition (Senior Division), National 3rd place (Senior Duet)/Finalist (Junior Solo) and East Central Division / Illinois State Winner of 2017 MTNA Senior Duet Competition and 2016 MTNA Junior Competition, 3rd Place winner of 2016 MostArts Festival Young Artist Piano Competition, 2013-2017 Walgreens National Concerto Competition Overall and Piano winner, 1st Place winner of 2015 Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) Youth Audition, winner of 2015 CSO “Carnival of the Animals” Audition, Piano winner of 2014 11th DePaul Concerto Festival, First Place winner of 2016 (18th) and 2013 (15th) Chopin Youth Piano Competition, along with many more.

As a solo pianist and chamber musician, Kimberly has performed in L’Auditori of Barcelona, Spain, Jacquiline du Pre Music Hall, Oxford, UK, Carnegie Hall (Stern Auditorium/Perleman Stage, and Weill Recital Hall), Orchestra Hall of Chicago Symphony Center, Preston Bradley Hall of Chicago Cultural Center, Jay Pritzker Pavilion of Millennium Park of Chicago, DePaul Concert Hall, Bennett-Gordon Hall (BGH) of Ravinia Festival, and Pick-Staiger Hall of Northwestern University, along with solo performances at 2017 Oxford Piano Festival, 2017 PianoSummer Festival, 2017 PianoTexas Academy & Festival, 2016 Gilmore Int'l Keyboard Festival, and 2016 Todi Int'l Music Masters Festival, etc.

In 2015, Kimberly performed Saint-Saens’ “Carnival of Animals” as solo pianist with Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) during guest conductor, Vladimir Kulenovic’s debut conducting the CSO. She was invited to perform Manuel de Falla’s “Nights in the Garden of Spain” as a soloist with the CSO again in 2016. A complete listing of her concerto engagements can be found on her website.
