This month we welcome back a favorite artist on the Spirio roster, Renzo Vitale. This new set, recently recorded at our studio in New York, displays his absorbing sound world illuminated through his sparkling pianism and endless creativity. He is also featured in this month’s SpirioSync video, creatively integrating some advanced Spirio technology. Renzo Vitale explores the narrative between music, science and human perception envisioning sonic spaces for music to evolve, for cities to sing, for people to transcend.

And it’s the birthday month for a perfectionist of Romanticism, Johannes Brahms. His sublime keyboard works are well-represented on Spirio and include wonderful performances such as Richard Goode’s selection of Intermezzi, Garrick Ohlsson’s complete set of the Pieces for Piano, Op. 118 and Stanislav Khristenko’s Variations and Fugue on a theme by Handel.

This month we also feature our Top 50 Pop tracks on Spirio. Almost none of these were originally written for piano so we’re very pleased to present what we feel are tasteful arrangements of the original tunes. These join our recent listings of the Top 50 Jazz and Top 50 Classical performances.

Finally, we recognize that future virtuosos have to start somewhere, so we’ve put together a set of tracks that highlight music that is manageable for pianists that are early in their careers.
