Steinway & Sons
Concert Technician
Training Program
The Steinway & Sons Concert Technician Training Program is an immersive, two-semester course for those pursuing advanced, concert-level technical mastery. Hosted at the Steinway factory in Astoria, NY, this comprehensive program provides in-depth, hands-on training tailored to the demands of professional concert performance environments.
This program offers thorough, guided training in the practical skills that define high-level piano service — the same fundamentals applied in showrooms, schools, and on the concert stage. It is designed to build judgment using real instruments and real situations, in the place where Steinway standards are taught and maintained.
