AUGUST 2025

Spirio Spotlight

The Spirio Motown Sound, Steinway Immortals, Garrick Ohlsson on Spiriocast, Latin Classics and Walking Tunes

This month we expand the Spirio Motown playlist with more tracks in our sing-along format featuring the enduring classics made famous by artists like The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and others.

This month on the Steinway Label we release the second volume of Latin American Classics with Kristhyan Benitez — a follow-up to the Latin Grammy-winning release in 2021. An updated version of this set is now also available on Spirio. And there is a second volume of Percy Grainger’s piano works performed by Simon Mulligan released on the label this month. It is called Walking Tunes and is now available on Spirio as well.

STEINWAY Immortals

Steinway Artists are an essential part of the Steinway legacy, and they have been very important in the development of the Spirio technology. Exploring the artistry of Steinway Immortals and recreating their music on Spirio has been a passion for us. This month we highlight this unique part of our catalog. Listen to Rachmaninov, Horowitz and Rubinstein play your piano — or jazz greats Art Tatum, Duke Ellington and Thelonious Monk.  Listen to Bach played by Glenn Gould, Chopin by Alfred Cortot, or Beethoven by Artur Schnabel — or Bill Evans or Erroll Garner playing their original works.
